On September 6, the Evan Michael Chambers L.O.V.E. Foundation returned to LECOM Park for a tradition that continues to connect Evan’s love of baseball with the character, service and community impact that defined him.
A TRADITION WITH PURPOSE
More Than a Baseball Award
Since 2022, the Evan Michael Chambers L.O.V.E. Foundation has presented an annual scholarship to a Bradenton Marauders player who best represents the qualities that made Evan so special — his personality, character and commitment to serving others.
This recognition goes beyond statistics, wins or performance on the field. It celebrates the person inside the uniform: how they treat others, how they represent their team and community, and how they use their position to positively impact the people around them.
Character matters. Service matters. How you impact others matters.

2026 SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT
Congratulations, Jeter Martinez
We are proud to recognize Bradenton Marauders pitcher Jeter Martinez as the 2026 Evan Michael Chambers L.O.V.E. Foundation Scholarship recipient. Jeter was presented with a $500 scholarship in recognition of the qualities this award was created to celebrate.
Being selected means becoming part of a tradition that keeps Evan’s spirit connected to the game he loved.
Congratulations, Jeter, and thank you for carrying forward the qualities that made Evan so special.

The Evan Michael Chambers L.O.V.E. Showcase, presented by the Evan Michael Chambers L.O.V.E. Foundation × R2Cares, gives high school baseball players an opportunity to showcase their abilities in front of college coaches and evaluators.
The Showcase takes place Friday, October 23 from 5:30 PM–9:00 PM at Lake Bonnie Ball Park.
Position Players — $150
Pitchers Only — $75
Players can expect college coaches and evaluators on-site, professional-style evaluations, the opportunity to showcase their skills and compete, exposure to college baseball programs, and a competitive environment focused on player development.
Spots are limited.
Your registration also makes an impact: 100% of funds generated through the EMC L.O.V.E. Showcase benefit the Evan Michael Chambers L.O.V.E. Foundation and its programs and mission.
