Evan’s Legacy Baseball Classic 2025!

The countdown is on for one of the most inspiring weekends of the year — the Evan’s Legacy Baseball Classic 2025, hosted by the Evan Michael Chambers L.O.V.E. Foundation in partnership with R2Cares. Taking place from October 31st to November 2nd at Fletcher Park @ Lake Bonny, this event promises to be more than just baseball — it’s a celebration of leadership, mentorship, and community spirit.

This year’s Classic will unite student-athletes, coaches, families, and fans to honor Evan’s legacy of L.O.V.E. – Lifting Others toward Victory and Excellence. Through every inning and every connection made, participants will continue the mission Evan started — to inspire others to lead with faith, humility, and heart.

Friday Night Lights – Opening Day

The weekend will kick off under the lights on Friday, October 31st, with an Opening Ceremony at 5:30 PM, followed by thrilling pool play games that set the tone for an unforgettable weekend:

• Field 1: Mulberry vs Winter Haven (Pool 1) – 5:00 PM
• Field 1: Desoto vs Bartow (Pool 2) – 6:45 PM
• Field 2: Lakeland vs Pro Youth Foundation (Pool 1/2) – 6:45 PM

Saturday – Beyond the Diamond

Saturday will bring more exciting matchups beginning at 9:00 AM, but the day’s highlight will take place off the field with “Beyond the Diamond” — a special Lunch & Panel Session (11:00 AM–12:00 PM).
This interactive experience will feature mentors, professionals, and community leaders sharing powerful lessons about leadership, personal growth, and how to succeed both on and off the field.

The afternoon will feature additional games and semifinals:

• Morning Games (9:00 AM): Pro Youth Foundation vs Desoto | Lakeland vs Mulberry
• Afternoon Games (12:30 PM): Winter Haven vs Lakeland | Bartow vs Pro Youth Foundation
• Semifinals (3:00 PM): Pool 1 #1 vs Pool 2 #2 | Pool 2 #1 vs Pool 1 #2

Sunday – Championship Sunday

The weekend will close with Championship Sunday on November 2nd at 11:00 AM, when the top two teams compete for the Evan’s Legacy Baseball Classic Title. Every pitch and play will represent more than competition — it will embody faith, excellence, and Evan’s belief that greatness is found in how we lift others.

More Than a Game

The Team Impact Challenge will return this year, encouraging teams to raise funds for mentorship, youth development, and community programs. Teams that reach the $200 goal will be recognized for their efforts, and the top team will receive a $500 donation to support their baseball program — a true reflection of Evan’s spirit of giving.
